Soldier killed another wounded in Kashmir

Srinagar,May 19 (UNI) A soldier was killed and another wounded in a militant attack in north kashmir's Baramulla district today an official spokesman said.

He said militants attacked a Road Opening Party (PRO) of Security Near the Taxi stand in Baramulla town this afternoon resulting on spot death of a soldier and while another was injured.

The wounded soldier was rushed to hospital, the spokesman said, adding that militants managed to escape from the scene.

Security forces launched a massive hunt to nab the militants responsible for the attack, he added.
