Sacha Sauda Chief expresses regret

Sirsa, May 19 (UNI) Dera Sacha Sauda Chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh today expressed regret over the advertisement published in newspaper depicting him in a particular dress.

In a statement here, he said that he had a great respect for sikh religion as well as all the Sikh Gurus. He said he had never equated himself with any guru.

He said that he held the sikh gurus in high esteem and had never thought of hurting anybody.

The Dera Chief said he wanted welfare of total humanity and added whatever had happened during the past few days had pained him.

He said his intention was not to hurt anybody and expressed regret over the incidents of violence.
