Nalanda Labour Superintendent sent to jail for accepting bribe
Patna, May 19 (UNI) Nalanda Labour Superintendent Mukul Kumar Sinha was caught red handed while accepting graft yesterday, official sources said today.
The sources said Mr Sinha had allegedly demanded Rs 1000 from a person for issuing a labour license.
But the person had brought the matter to the notice of the Patna District Magistrate (DM) following which a special team comprising SDM (Sadar) S C Verma and DSP (Sadar) A K Satyarthi was formed and a trap was laid.
The DM had appealed to the people to bring more such incidents to the notice of the Vigilance department to help root out corruption and ensure good governance.
