Labourer killed in explosion

Bhopal, May 19 (UNI) A labourer was killed and five people, including three women,injured in an explosion at a stone crusher at Gunga at the outskirts of the state capital yesterday, police said.

Additional Superintendent of Police (Rural) Arvind Saxena said the deceased had been identified as Hariram. The injured had been given first aid at Gunga itself.

The workers were injured during explosion carried out for stone quarrying and the contractor had a licence for the use of explosives, Mr Saxena said.
