Heat wave continues in Coastal AP
Vijayawada, May 19 (UNI) Severe heat wave conditions continued in Coastal Andhra Pradesh for the tenth day today with A maximum temperature of 42 degree celsius being recorded in the region.
A MET official told UNI that the heat wave would continue for another couple of days.
The maximum temperature of 44.7 deg celsius was recorded at Vijayawada, while the minimum temperature stood at 30 deg celsius.
A report from Machilipatnam said the port town recorded a maximum temperature of 44.3 deg celsius and minimum of 30.4 deg celsius.
A maximum temperature of 43.2 degree celsius was recorded at Eluru, the MET official added.
