Former Bank Manager charged with embezzelement

Munger, May 19 (UNI) A local court today remanded former manager of State Bank of India's Safihabad branch Dinesh Pathak to judicial custody for misappropriation of Rs one crore.

Following his arrest from Sultangunj in Bhagulpur district the bank official was produced before the Chief Judicial Magistrate here, who sent him to judicial custody.

According to charges, the accused had embezzled bank's funds by disbursing loans in the name of fake persons.
