Dy CM inaugurates Rs 41.35 crore water project

Dumka, May 19 (UNI) Jharkhand's Deputy Chief Minister Stephen Marandi and Drinking Water and Sanitaion minister Chandra Prakash Choudhary today inaugurated various water supply projects here, set up at a cost of Rs 41.35 crores.

Talking to newspersons here, he asserted the government would strengthen the infrastructure required for providing basic amenities to the people.

He said efforts were on to expedite the project of power grid being constructed in the district.

Meanwhile, after laying foundation of a engineering college here, Mr Choudhary said the government was planning to provide technical education to the students in their own state.

He further assured all the water supply projects would be finished during the next 18 months.
