Dinakaran attack case: CBI team arrives
Madurai, May 19 (UNI) A special team from the CBI, entrusted with the probe into the violent attack on the office premises of Tamil daily Dinakaran and Sun TV Network, owned by the Maran family, arrived here today.
The team, led by a Superintendent of Police, was closeted with the Madurai SP T S Anbu at the latter's office to get the details about the May 9 incident, in which three employees of the daily had died.
Following the publication of a survey on the lines of succession in Chief Minister M Karunanidhi's family, supporters of his elder son M K Azhagiri ransacked the office and set it on fire.
