Cotton steady on moderate spinners demand

Mumbai, May 19 (UNI) Cotton prices remained steady on moderate spinners demand, traders at the Cotton Association said here today.

Following are the spot cotton rates per candy in Rupees: Bengal Desi: Rs 14,600, V-797: Rs 15,600, Karnataka Jayadhar: Rs 14,700, Y-1: Rs 16,600, Punjab J-34: Rs 17,100, NHH-44: Rs 17,900, LRA: Rs 17,200, H-4: Rs 17,700, S-6-A grade: Rs 18,000, Bunny/Brahma: Rs 18,800, MCU-5: Rs 21,000, DCH-32: Rs 32,000, 26-MM: Rs 17,600.
