Centre should give all assistance to state: Yechuri

Hyderabad, May 19 (UNI) Communist Party of India-Marxists CPI(M) polit Bureau member Sitaram Yechuri today urged the Centre to provide necessary assistance to Andhra Pradesh government to tackle the situation arising out of yesterday's bomb blast at Mecca mosque here.

Mr Yechuri, along with CPI(M)state unit Secretary B V Raghavulu and other members of the party, visited the scene of the blast, in which 14 people were killed and 50 others injured.

He said the Centre and other organisations should extend a helping hand to the state government.

He said the state government should bring to book the culprits involved in the incident and ensure that such incidents do not recur.
