BSP condemns Mecca blast, demands compensation
Patna, May 19 (UNI) Bihar unit of the Bahujan Samajwadi Party (BSP) has condemned yesterday's bomb blast at Mecca mosque in Hyderabad and termed it as a ''deep rooted consipracy to disturb communal harmony.'' Senior BSP leader Amrendra Kumar Pandey, also a MLA, here today said the 400-year-old historic mosque was a symbol of peace and communal harmony and such an incident was aimed at disturbing peace.
The conspiracy for such a blast was more deplorable since it took place on Friday when members of the muslim community had gathered for friday congregation (Jumma Namaz).
Condoling the casualties, Mr Pandey urged the Centre to announce ex-gratia payment to the next of kin for all the deceased and also to the injured.
