Bandh observed in AP district

Machilipatnam, May 19 (UNI) The bandh in Machilipatnam and Pedana municipalities, Gudur and Nandigama mandal centres in Andhra Pradesh in protest against yesterday's bomb attack on Mecca Masjid in Hyderabad was total.

In Machilipatnam, all business establishments, shops, commercial banks, LIC divisional office,Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) and several government offices, both central and state remained closed. Cinema halls suspended shows.

All state transport corporation bus services except in Kakinada were suspended.
