B Tech student commits suicide over poor results
Ambala, May 19 (UNI) A second year B.Tech student of Mullana M M Engineering College here allegedly committed suicide today by hanging himself from the ceiling fan in his hostel room.
The student, Vikas, resident of Gohana, was apparently depressed over his poor results declared two days ago, as he had been placed in compartment in four papers, his friends here said.
He was reportedly under strain since then and according to his two roommates, refused to accompany them to play in the college ground.
On their return, they found the room bolted from inside and upon forcing entry, saw Vikas hanging from the ceiling fan. The college warden called the police, which have started investigations.
