Appointments in district consumer forums soon: Chairman

Chatra, May 19 (UNI) Chairman of Jharkhand State Consumer Forum Justice Gurusharan Sharma today said appointments against the posts lying vacant in district consumer forums throughout the state would be done very soon.

Justice Sharma said applications from the eligible candidates had been asked and process of appointment was in progress.

Expressing concern over the low rate of consumer cases in the district, Justice Sharma said people should be made aware about their rights and district administration should also shoulder its responsibilty for the cause.

Justice Sharma was also accompanied by District and Sessions judge Arun Kumar Dutta and Deputy Commissioner Ved Prakash Narayan Singh.
