AP CM'S effigy burnt in Jammu

Jammu, May 19 (UNI) Protesting against the tragic Hyderabad blast, people today burnt Andhra Pradesh chief minister Y S Rajashekhara Reddy in effigy here.

A large number of Muslims, led by the Maulana of Jama Masjid at Talab Khatikan, staged protest demonstrations against the explosions at the centuries-old Mecca Masjid yesterday, wherein 16 people lost their lives and dozens were injured.

Maulana Mohammad Sharief Sartaz criticised YSR government's failure in providing security at the world-famous Charminar.
