Anti Corruption Bureau books former Rajasthan Minister

Jaipur, May 19 (UNI) The Rajasthan Anti Corruption Bureau has registered a case against a former minister, the then tehsildar, the then naib tehsildar and others for alleged misuse of their posts in undue allotment of land to the minister's family and relatives.

Bureau Director General P K Tiwari said here that Ratan Lal Tambi, in his capacity as Panchayat Samiti pradhan, former MLA from Jahazpur (Bhilwara)and former minister between 1966 and 2000 had misused his influence, in collusion with the then tehsildar and naib tehsildar, to get allotted a total of 54 bigha excess land in his name and the names of his family members.

Mr Tiwari said that prime facie case was found in initial probe against Tambi, the then tehsildar Harimohan Gupta, the then naib tehsildar Jagdish Chand Sharma and other beneficiaries.
