7 killed in road accidents in Surendranagar

Surendranagar (Gujarat), May 19 (UNI) Seven people died today in two separate road accidents in Surendranagar district.

According to police, in the first mishap, five people were killed and 15 injured when a jeep they were travelling in collided with a truck near Patadi, 40 km from here. The deceased were identified as Babiben Rabari, Rajubhai Jashwantbhai, Sawitaben Mehta, Amubha Keshubha and Dharmishtaben Lakshmi Shankar.

In another accident, two persons- Babubhai Narubhai Raijada and Ranjeetsingh Darbar died when their Indica car rammed into a speeding truck.
