Jammu: 17 Bangladeshis arrested along IB

Jammu, May 19: The Border Security Force apprehended at least 17 Bangladeshis national near International Border in Akhnoor sector here, official said today.

Giving details an official spokesman said BSF personnel of 26 Battalion noticed a group of persons moving in suspicious circumstances near Malabella border post in Akhnoor sector at around 1000 hrs today.

The troops swung into action and arrested all of them, cash amounting to Rs 1347 and eight Taka were recovered from the possession of the arrested. After preliminary interrogation by BSF, they were handed over to local police for further investigation.
