Youth held, pistol seized

Surat, May 18 (UNI) A youth, originally hailing from West Bengal, was arrested here yesterday evening with a country-made pistol and four live cartridges.

Police said Ravi Kaliya Vijaya Dutta (24), presently residing at Amba Nagar in Udhna Magdalla Road here, was spotted moving in a suspicious manner.

The weapon was found upon the youth's person, police said, adding a case has been registered against him under the Arms Act.
