Vigilance nabs two for taking bribe

Chandigarh, May 18 (UNI) Haryana State Vigilance Bureau has caught red-handed Raj Kumar, S.D.O. in the office of Sarv Shiksha Abhiyan, Hisar while accepting illegal gratification of Rs. 5,000 from Ram Dass, Headmaster of Middle School, Village Sarherha, district Hisar for submitting his report of inspection of rooms constructed in Govt.

Middle School.

Similarly, the Bureau has also caught red-handed Ram Parshad, Field Clerk in the office of Municipal Committee, Hisar while accepting bribe of Rs 1,000 from Mr. Om Parkash of Barhwali Dhani, district Hisar for correcting the report of House Tax.

He said that cases against both the accused had been registered under section 7/13/49 of Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988 in the Bureau's police station at Hisar. Further investigation in the cases is in progress.
