Two arrested; silver bars seized

Kuppam, May 18 (UNI) Police arrested two persons and seized 50 kg silver and cash of Rs 1.15 lakh from them at the bus station here last night.

Police said Saravana (34) and Sundararajan (41), who were waiting at the bus stand for proceeding to Salem, were questioned by a police party.

On examination of their baggage, police found the silver bars worth Rs 10 lakh without proper bills. They were illegally taking the bars from Karimnagar to Salem in Tamil Nadu, police added.
