TMMK condemns Mecca masjid blast

Chennai, May 18 (UNI) The Tamil Nadu Muslim Munnetra Kazhagam (TMMK) today condemned the bomb explosion at the historic Mecca Masjid near Charminar in Hyderabad today, in which five people were killed.

Expressing shock and surprise over the incident, TMMK President M H Jawahirullah, in a statement here said those who were involved in the heinous act deserved to be severely punished.

The Andhra Pradesh government should probe the incient in an impartial manner and bring to book the culprits, who unleashed violence against innocent people, he said.
