Three children drown in well

Kolhapur, May 18 (UNI) Two boys and a girl drowned in a well at Valve-Khurd village in Kagal tehsil here.

The three children - Maruti Patil (12), his sister Rupali (15) and relative Suresh Patil (10) of Sonali village - had yesterday gone to a nearby well for a bath but drowned in it when they were electrocuted due to a shock from a live electric motor at around 1800 hrs, police said today.

Further details are awaited, police added.
