Slight earthquake in North Sikkim

New Delhi, May 18 (UNI) A 'slight' intensity earthquake, measuring 4.5 on the Richter Scale, shook North Sikkim this evening.

The temblor occurred at 1810 hrs and had its epicenter at 27.7 degrees North latitude and 88.6 degrees East longitude, the Meteorological department said.

There were no reports of any loss of life or damage to property.
