Reliance launches 'Lifetime Validity' coupons

Mumbai, May 18: Reliance Communications today announced the launch of Lifetime Validity Recharge at Rs 499.

Announcing the launch, Reliance Communications president (personal business) S P Shukla said, ''Earlier this month, we had launched feature rich Classic handsets at just Rs 777 and thus radically reduced the cost of going mobile. Today with the launch of Rs 499 recharge, we are pleased to make the cost of staying mobile also extremely affordable.'' ''This move will be appreciated by millions of subcribers who can now be mobile for a Lifetime with Reliance at less than Rs 1400 without worrying about their recurring costs,'' Mr Shukla said.

Lifetime Validity from Reliance allows a subscriber to get incoming calls for upto 15 years as against ten years of most operators. In addition customers can also use Reliance STD call cards which offer full talktime and call rates as low as Re one per minute.

The subscriber, recharging with Rs 499 recharge option, gets Rs 20 worth free talk time and just needs to recharge with a total of Rs 125 every three months in order to stay active.
