Rangasamy Government "anti-people": AIADMK

Puducherry, May 18 (UNI) The AIADMK in Puducherry today described the Rangasamy-led government which completed one year in office today as 'anti-people' government.

Addressing a press conference here, Party state secretary A Anbazhagan, MLA, said groupism within the Congress party and power struggle within the government had made the Rangasamy government, a minority and non-functioning one in office with the support of DMK.

Mr Anbazhagan charged the government with failing to implement schemes announced in the last budget, which included provision of tution fees reimbursement for BSc nursing students selected through CENTAC, provision of colour television sets, land for landless farmers, free rice scheme, among other things.
