Neelam Sanjeeva Reddy remembered

Hyderabad, May 18 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy today paid tributes to Former President Neelam Sanjeeva Reddy on the eve of his 84th birth anniversary.

Recalling the achievements of Mr Sanjeeva Reddy, the chief minister said he secured various projects like Nagarjunasagar Dam, Srisailam Hydroelectric Project and Thungabhadra High Level Canal Project among others for the development of the state.

The chief minister said Mr Sanjeev Reddy was also instrumental in establishing Panchayat Raj.

During July 1977-July 1982 when he was the President, Mr Sanjeeva Reddy never compromised on values and ethics in public life.

He dedicated his entire life to selfless service to the nation, the chief minister said.
