MRPL sells June stem to Shell

SINGAPORE, May 18 (Reuters) Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Ltd. (MRPL) has sold a June-loading naphtha cargo to Royal Dutch Shell, a trading source said on Friday.

The price of the 30,000-tonne cargo, to be loaded June 22-24 from the western port of New Mangalore, was unknown, the source added.

MRPL last sold a 30,000-tonne May 28-30 cargo to Itochu at a premium of around a tonne to Middle East spot quotes on a free-on-board (FOB) basis.

The company has sold two June-loading naphtha cargoes so far, including a 30,000-tonne stem for June 10-15 loading that went to a term buyer.
