Mosque blast in Hyderabad:Bihar on high alert
Patna, May 18 (UNI) The Bihar government today sounded high alert across the state following blasts in a mosque in Hyderabad.
Security arrangements had been beefed up at important religious and historical places in the state.
State police headquarters sources said all district police superintendents had been directed to ensure security of religious places. Patrolling in the sensitive areas had been intensified and frisking of suspected people were being carried out to foil any attempt of miscreants to create disturbance.
Policemen in Naxalites affected areas including Aurngabad.
Gaya, Jehanbad, Jamui had been asked to keep vigil on trouble makers.
In Patna, additional reinforcement had been deployed in surrounding areas of Takht Harimandir Saheb in view of the clashes in Punjab over Dera Sacha Sauda controversy.
