Modipon to stop manufacturing operations

New Delhi, May 18 (UNI) Yarn maker Modipon Ltd today said it would suspend manufacturing operations and lay off workers at its unit due to continued losses.

The company had earlier said that it proposed to put 41 workers of a particular department (not in operation for quite some time) with effect from April 20 this year on lay-off.
