'Maha laghu darshan' reintroduced
Tirumala, May 18 (UNI) The Tirumala Tirupathy Devastanam (TTD) authorities have reintroduced 'Maha laghu darshan' following heavy rush of pilgrims since yesterday.
Cellar tickets issued on recommendation letters were cancelled and restrictions imposed on the other break darshan tickets to avoid inconvenience to common pilgrims, a TTD official said here today.
'Maha laghu darshan' was also arranged for the morning 'seva' of 'Nijapadadarshanam' holders and at Kalyanakatta.
The queue in the VQCs extended till Lepakshi emporium in Tirumala. All the 23 compartments were packed with pilgrims.
The hundi collection during the last three-days crossed Rs 3.5 crore.
The rush is expected to continue till Sunday, the official added.
