Rajkot, May 18 (UNI) Five members of the Koli community today began an indefinite fast in front of the collectorate here, demanding immediate arrest of two main accused, involved in the ghastly incident at Junagadh, where a teen-aged girl was murdered and another gang-raped on Datar Mountain, while they were returning from the Upper Datar Shrine.

President of the Koli Community of Rajkot city Virjibhai Sanura, Rajkot District Vice President Vaghjibhai Mevasia, Rajkot city Vice President Jagdishbhai Solanki, President of Bhavnath in Junagadh Maganbhai Kumarkhania and Koli Sena Vice President Munabhai Bavaliya were on an indefinite fast.

Major parts of Saurashtra have been witnessing widespread protest by members of the Koli community over last sunday's incident in Junagadh.

Yesterday, Congress activists had staged a dharna at Trikon Bagh here, demanding that the BJP Government in the state step down following the ''deteriorating law and order situation.'' City Congress President Jaswant Sinh Bhatti had alleged that during last two years, there were 161 cases of rape reported in Rajkot and Junagadh districts and police have failed to get the culprits convicted.
