Israeli air strike on Gaza car, 2 dead-witnesses
GAZA, May 18 (Reuters) Israel's air force bombed a van carrying Palestinian militants through Gaza City today killing at least two people, witnesses said.
An Israeli military spokesman had no immediate comment.
Witnesses said at least one Palestinian was also wounded in the air strike.
One of the dead was identified as a Hamas militant. The affiliation and identity of the other dead person was not immediately known.
Israel has carried out a wave of air strikes in Gaza this week following cross-border rocket salvoes by Palestinian militants.
