Interstate gang busted

New Delhi, May 18 (UNI) With the arrest of three people, including a Head Constable from South Delhi, police have busted an interstate gang involved in as many as 25 cases including murder and attack on police personnel.

Satender Malik alias Pinna, the gang leader, Rajesh were arrested by sleuths of special cell on Wednesday near Chattarpur temple on Mehrauli-Gurgaon Road after a brief chase during which the accused opened fire on police.

Head Constable Vashist, posted in Preet Vihar police station, was arrested on information provided by Malik during interrogation.

Police recovered one .32 bore pistol with four live cartridges, and a .315 bore pistol from them besides a stolen car and motorcycle.
