Gold Field opens third workshop facility for JCB

Tirupati, May 18 (UNI) The third state-of-the-art workshop facility opened by Gold Fields of JCB India, the world's leading construction equipment manufacturer, was inaugurated by JCB Managing Director Vipin Sondhi here today.

Speaking on the occasion, he said JCB India, the market leader in the backshoe loader segment, was holding more than 80 per cent maket share in Andhra Pradesh. The company was also gaining strength in the tracked excavator and wheeled loading shovel segments all over India, he claimed.

Mr Vipin said the first modern manufacturing facility in India started in 1979 at Ballabgarh in Haryana and other two centers in Pune and Maharashtra offered a diverse range of unmatched backshoe loaders, wheeled loaders, excavators and skid steer loaders, while the ultra-modern JCB dealer facility started today, would provide services to customers in and around the temple town.

Claiming that JCB produced quality machines for better fuel economics, JCB Vice-President (Sales and Marketing) Sandeep Singh said the company was planning to manufacture three different range of equipments, that could be used in tall building constructions.

The company offered 17 different machines in five product types such as backshoe loaders, loading shovels, tracked excavators, skid steer loaders and tele-handlers and an excellent network of 43 dealers and over 250 outlets throughout the country, along with a world-class customer service network support JCB, he added.
