Girl kidnapped

Visakhapatnam, May 18 (UNI) A 19-year-old girl was kidnapped from the Port Area here today.

According police, Savithri, the daughter of Karrayya, a watchman in the Forest Department of Andaman and Nicobar islands, was kidnapped by unidentified persons.

Mr Karrayya told the media he had come to his hometown of Palasa Mandal in Srikakulam District a month ago on a visit to his family.

He was standing in a queue to purchase ship tickets to Port Blair when the girl along with her 12-year-old brother went to attend nature's call.

It was when two persons who came in a black car pulled the girl inside and sped away.
