Dr Trehan leaves Escorts

New Delhi, May 18 (UNI) Dr Naresh Trehan, Executive Director, Escorts Heart Institute and Rsearch Centre Ltd (EHIRCL) today resigned from his post to concentrate on the medicity project.

Dr Trehan had been associated with Escorts Heart Institute for over 20 years.

''Escorts led by Dr Trehan has over the past two decades been instrumental in training and incubating some of the leading cardiac surgeons and cardiologists,'' Escorts Heart Institute and Research Centre Ltd&Fortis Healthcare Ltd Managing Director Shivinder Mohan Singh said.

He will continue to be a 10 per cent shareholder in EHIRCL, he added.
