C'garh: CRPF jawan killed in naxal attack
Jagdalpur, Chhattisgarh, May 18: A Central Reserve Police Force jawan was killed on the spot and three others injured when naxals triggered a landmine blast near Mansudi Patelpara village in Dantewada district of Chhattisgarh this morning, police said.
CRPF jawans, who were posted in Leader of Opposition Mahendra Karma's security at his native village Faraspal, had gone out on patrolling at 0800 hours when the blast occurred near Mansudi Patelpara village.
Jawan Hoshiyar Singh (25), a resident of Rajasthan, died in the incident.
In this explosion, head constables K N Pathak, V K Tiwari and T Hanumanth Rai were injured. Mr Pathak and Mr Tiwari, who were seriously injured, were being taken to Jagdalpur for treatment.
