Masjid blast: CM, Union Home Minister to arrive

Hyderabad, May 18: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy and Union Home Minister Shivraj Patil will arrive here this evening from New Delhi to review the situation in the wake of the blast in Mecca Masjid which killed at least five people and injured several others.

According to officials here, the Chief Minister, who is in the national capital, has instructed police officials to ensure maintenance of law and order following the blast in th old city area.

Dr Reddy and Mr Patil will reach here this evening and review the situation.

The Chief Minister, who had gone to New Delhi to participate in the UPA Government's three year anniversary, was scheduled to arrive here tomorrow evening.
