3 held for murder

Azamgarh, May 18 (UNI) Three people have been arrested here in connection with the murder of a trader, Jai Kumar, who was shot dead in Nabi village of Rai-Ki-Sarai area on April 30, according to police.

On being tipped-off, cops nabbed the three accused last evening.

On interrogation, Sudhir Chaurasia confessed to have taken a loan of Rs 2.5 lakh from Kumar and when the latter demanded the repayment, Sudhir and his brother-in-law Bhola hired a sharp-shooter Shyamji Yadav to get him killed.

Meanwhile, the accused had been sent to jail.
