NSCN(IM) cadre gunned down

Guwahati, May 17 (UNI) An NSCN (IM) rebel was gunned down by Assam Rifles in Arunachal Pradesh today, a report received here said.

Official sources said the cadre of the 'Jacob Battalion' of the outfit, was traced by the jawans at Longkhon Bazar in Tirap district. The jawans fired at the rebel when he tried to flee.

He died on way to the hospital.
