Action demanded against Dera Saccha Sauda chief

Sriganganagar, May 17: BJP MLA Gurjant Singh Barar has demanded action against Dera Saccha Sauda chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh alias Premiji, saying he has become a tool in the hands of Congress.

Speaking at Sikh organsiations meeting here yesterday, Mr Barar, representing Sangria constituency, said Dera Saccha followers have been doing good social work for the past few years. But have lost their sense of direction during the recent Punjab elections.

He said Congress has been instrumental in instigating the Dera followers, who have hurt the religious sentiments of Sikhs. Asking for strict action against Premiji, he urged those Sikhs who have turned Dera followers to return to the fold.
