Undertrials escape from sub-jail

Godhra, May 16 (UNI) Two prisoners, lodged in Lunawala sub-jail in Panchamahal district, escaped from their barrack early today, police said.

Police sources said Zakir Hussain Urf Mustaq Sindhi and Mohsin Jabir Chanda escaped after breaking open a portion of a toilet of the jail.

A complaint has been registered in this connection.

No arrest has been made so far, police added.
