IIMs to host national conference

Kozhikode, May 16: As many as 70 eminent personalities and stalwarts from the academia and industry are expected to participate in a national conference on ''Global Competition and Competitiveness of Indian Corporate'' beginning here on May 18.

Organised jointly by Indian Institutes of Management, Kozhikode and Lucknow, the two-day multi-facted event would be inaugurated by IIM-L director Devi Singh, according to a press release here today.

The meet would focus on the need to drastically improve competitiveness in a number of strategic areas such as technological capability building, internationalization of Indian business, value chain management and strategic control, among other things, it added.
