Godman's son held

Chennai, May 16 (UNI) Police have arrested the son of late Godman Yagava Munivar and his lover for allegedly threatening his mother and wife, who questioned him about his extra-marital affair, at suburb Medavakkam here yesterday.

Police said the arrested, Saran (29), was residing with his mother Pushpa and wife Renuka Devi. It was alleged that Sangeetha, who was running a beauty parlour on the first floor of Saran's house, developed an illicit relationship with him.

When his mother came to know about this illegitimate relation, she asked him to end the affair. An irate Saran threatened to kill his mother and wife.
