Couple shot dead

Mainpuri, May 16 (UNI) Unidentified assailants shot dead a couple in Alau area here tonight.

Babloo Nai -- a resident of Tarapur village -- along with his wife was fatally attacked near Sanjapur village when he was on way to his in-laws house.

The reason behind the crime, however, remained a puzzle.

A hunt for the accused was on, police said.
