BRPL Q4 PAT down 41 pc

New Delhi, May 16 (UNI) Bongaigaon Refinery and Petrochemicals Ltd (BRPL) today registered a 41 per cent drop in its net profit at Rs 18.10 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2007 as against Rs 30.65 crore during the same period last year.

The company's total income also slipped 18.57 per cent to Rs 1,213.76 crore from Rs 1,490.72 crore during the said period.

For the year ended March 31, 2007, the company's net profit stood at Rs 184.98 crore in comparison to Rs 174.76 crore last fiscal while total income increased to Rs 5,833.47 crore from Rs 5674.02 crore.
