Auto rams into tree, kills two

Tiruchirapalli, May 16 (UNI) Two workers including a woman, were killed and another seriously injured when an autorickshaw in which they were travelling dashed against a roadside tree at Kilakkuvadi village near Thuraiyur, about 60 km from here, today.

Police said the autorickshaw was transporting cement bags and other construction materials for strengthening the bund of a lake.

The driver of the three-wheeler lost control ofthe vehicle while negotiating a curve, when the mishap occurred.
