UP: Two baratis killed in road accident

Allahabad, May 15: Two baratis were killed and one dozen received serious injuries when the mini truck, in which they were travelling, dashed against an electric pole and overturned in Naini industrial area last night, police said today.

The incident occurred when the victims were going to attend a marriage and the driver of the mini truck lost the control of vehicle and it dashed against a roadside electric pole and overturned.

The dead included groom's grandfather Sunder Lal Kushwaha(60) who died on the spot and Lal Chandra Patel (18),who died on the way to hospital.

The injured were admitted to S R N hospital where the condition of some of them was stated to be serious.
