TVC constituted for Mahanadu commencing May 27

Tirupati, May 15(UNI) A 31-member Tirupati Volunteer Committee(TVC) headed by the Convenor P R Mohan was constituted today to oversee the three-day Mahanadu arrangements, commences on May 27 in Tirupati.

Talking to newspersons here, Mr Mohan said the committee will select 500 Telugu Yuvatha Volunteers(TYV) from 65 mandals in Chittoor district and organise one-week training programme for them to receive the delegates and party leaders.

The volunteers will also be trained to ensure the success of the prestigious event, he added.

He said necessary steps were taken to tighten the security.
